We inform you that the photography exhibition CHISEL AND MEMORY. The contribution of marble craftsmanship to the restoration of the Acropolis monuments hosted at the Acropolis Museum temporary exhibition gallery, will be extended until the 12th of January 2020.
The entire exhibition includes 107 photographs from the restoration works at the Erechteion, the Parthenon, the Propylaia and the Temple of Athena Nike. The photographs focus on the human factor in the restoration projects, illustrate the daily life in the worksites, while they depict how the technicians relate to their work.
Duration: 11 June 2019 – 30 September 2020
The exhibition takes place in the ground floor Temporary Exhibition Gallery.
