The exhibition “Chisel and Memory: the contribution of marble-craftsmanship to the restoration of monuments” is transferred to Taranto, Italy, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Bari (School of Specialization in Architectural Goods and Landscape) and the Soprintendenza Archeologia per le Provincie di Brindisi, Lecce e Taranto. The exhibition is organized as part of a series of events on the occasion of transferring the Head of the School from Bari to Taranto and is housed at the patio of the Convent of St. Domenico, from the 19th of February to the 20th of May, 2020. Both the Director of YSMA, Ms V. Eleftheriou and the Deputy President of ESMA, Prof. F. Mallouchou- Tufano, will attend the opening of the exhibition. At the same event, YSMA’s production “Short stories of restoration”, will be shown to the public, subtitled in Italian.
