The Acropolis Restoration Service has been awarded a special Honorary Distinction on Educational Software for its online educational applications. Skywalker.gr made the Award during the Education Festival 2017 on Friday, September 8, 2017. The Education Festival is organized for the second time this year and aims at the promotion of inland studies provided either by private or public Greek educational institutions.
This recognition comprises an important acknowledgment of the work of the Information and Education Department. The Department’s diverse activities aim at enhancing pupils’ cognitive, aesthetic and affective experience of the Acropolis monuments and the promotion of experiential learning.
